Robin Evans, MD
Dr. Evans attended medical school and completed her dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She received her M.D. degree with honors after being elected to the AOA National Medical Honor Society and was appointed Chief Resident of her dermatology training program. Dr. Evans continues her affiliation with Albert Einstein serving as Clinical Instructor for both medical students and residents in training. In addition, she is a member of the medical staff at Stamford Hospital.
Dr. Evans is a Board Certified Dermatologist, Dermatologic Surgeon, and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has a particular interest in cosmetic, laser, and surgical dermatology and has received extensive training in these specialty areas. Dr. Evans is also a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Castle Connolly honored Dr. Evans as a Regional Top Doctor and she received their Patients’ Choice and On-Time Doctor Awards.
In addition to her expertise in cosmetic and laser dermatology, Dr. Evans has a particular interest in and knowledge of holistic and complementary medicine. Based on the interests of her patients, she incorporates the holistic approach into her practice of dermatology. Dr. Evans offers skin care and supplement recommendations to help in the treatment and prevention of skin disease.

Cristal Tope is an ANCC Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Dermatology. She received her Master of Science degree from Pace University and holds undergraduate bachelor’s degrees in Nursing, Pharmacology, and Business Management from Stony Brook University.
Cristal formerly served as a neonatal ICU nurse for a decade at New York-Presbyterian/Weill-Cornell Medical Center in New York City, and most recently as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at Westmed Medical Group in White Plains, NY. Arlene Kogan
Arlene Kogan is the Practice Administrator at Southern Connecticut Dermatology. She graduated with a BA in elementary education and taught second grade for 11 years in the Jersey City school district. After a number of years of involvement within her community in positions that included being on the board of local organizations, Arlene reentered the workforce and became the office manager for two ophthalmology practices on Long Island. Having always been interested in dermatology, she came to our office in Stamford in 2009.
Arlene’s focus is on the growth and smooth operation of our practice and on the patient experience. She is able to answer all questions from the moment the patient walks into the office to helping a patient understand their insurance coverage and dealing with the insurance carrier. She is always available to ensure that the patient’s experience at Southern Connecticut Dermatology will be professional and pleasant.
